Dr Mohamed Haikal Johari completed his Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Queensland in 2016. He subsequently trained in critical care across multiple hospitals in Queensland before moving back home to Melbourne and transitioning to general practice.
Dr Haikal began his general practice training at Hampstead Medical and has now returned to complete the final phase of his training. He has come to enjoy all aspects of general practice with particular interest in chronic disease management and employs a patient centred approach to care.
Outside of medicine Haikal enjoys rock climbing and is often found at the nearby climbing gym or the Grampians when time allows.
