Effective from 1 July, 2022 Hampstead Medical will be moving from Bulk Billing to Mixed Billing.
What this Means for You
Patients under 16 years old and over 65 years old, Healthcare card holders and Pension card holders will continue to be bulk billed for consultations EXCEPT for procedures, new patients, and Faiza Khan's Mental Health Care Plans. Please check with our team if we have your concession card details on file, otherwise, we will not be able to bulk-bill your consultation.
Patients between 16-65 years old, who do not fall into the above criteria, will incur an out-of-pocket fee.
Procedures and other specialised services will continue to be billed privately. All procedures require a deposit. Prior to commencing any procedures, the fees will be discussed with you by the treating Doctor or one of our team members.
All new patients will be required to pay a $50.00 deposit to secure the booking. For those with Medicare cards, a rebate will be available from the appointment.
We accept payment via EFTpos, Credit Card or Cash. An immediate Medicare rebate is accessible through our payment facility.
