Dr Leo began his clinical training in 2008 as an intern at Latin America’s largest hospital in Brazil. He progressed through the surgical pathway, completing over eight years of training in General Surgery and Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
In 2016, he commenced a joint PhD program between the University of Adelaide and Nagoya University in Japan, focusing on the prevention of colorectal cancer.
Over the past eight years, Dr Leo has dedicated his career to the management of adult gastrointestinal disorders. He is now expanding his clinical scope by transitioning into General Practice, bringing with him a wealth of surgical and gastrointestinal expertise.
We are a modern, patient-centred medical practice in Maidstone, VIC servicing the North-West Metro and surrounding suburbs. We are open 6 days a week, Monday to Saturday.
