Dr Cecile Arcena obtained her Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in 1998 and became a Fellow of the Philippine Academy of Family Physicians in 2004. Having acquired a diverse experience in different aspects of family medicine, she migrated to Australia in 2007 and worked as a rural GP in Queensland for quite some time. Ultimately, she obtained her Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2010 and has since then settled down in Melbourne and continued practicing as a GP.
Her love for General Practice inspired Dr Cecile to pursue further training in the area - notably women’s and children’s health, occupational medicine, travel medicine, and skin diseases including skin cancer. She also has a keen interest in fertility, infertility and preconception care and undertook further studies related to these.
Dr Cecile is an accredited Shared Maternity Care provider for the Royal Women’s Hospital, Sunshine Hospital and Mercy Hospitals. Having done further training, she is also highly-experienced in Implanon and IUD procedures.
She applies her passion for medical education in her roles as a GP educator for University of Melbourne and GP Training Supervisor and examiner for the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
Dr Cecile believes in empowering her patients to be responsible of their health. This inspires her to pursue further training and learning so she can serve as a guide to her patients in making informed choices and in their journey to achieve optimum well-being.

Dr Faiza Khan has completed numerous qualifications and continues to expand her skillset to help her patients, gaining her fellowship in 2011.
Dr Khan is accredited in Focussed Psychological Skills (FPS) and a member of Australian Society of Psychological Medicine (ASPM). The therapy models include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Clinical Hypnosis, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy as well as Mindfulness to help her patients lead fulfilling lives.

Dr Khan completed her Post Graduate Diploma in Paediatrics from Westmead Children’s Hospital and further completed her Masters in Women’s Health Medicine. Dr Khan is also accredited in Long-Acting Reversible Contraceptives (LARC) including Implanon and IUD procedures.
Dr Khan is a GP Supervisor for Medical Students and Registrars, a member of General Practice Supervisors Association (GPSA), an active Examiner for Royal Australasian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) as well as her involvement in the selection of Registrars for General Practice.
Dr Khan focuses on a holistic approach with her patients to provide optimum health care.

Dr Stephen Tsimos completed his Doctor of Medicine in 2016 at the University of Melbourne. Dr Tsimos worked in hospitals for several years which led him into General Practice, where he gained his RACGP fellowship.
Dr Tsimos is passionate and dedicated to all areas of general practice, fully embracing the patient-centre approach to medicine. Some of Dr Tsimos specialities include: Men’s Health, Children’s Health, Chronic Disease Management, Minor surgical procedures as well as Implanon Insertion/Removal/Replacement.
Additionally, Dr Tsimos has a keen interest sharing his knowledge and teaching the new generation of doctors. Dr Tsimos speaks Greek and enjoys going on a hike or attending sporting events when he is not at the clinic.

Dr Aprille Barrientos is a GP Registrar.
She graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (MD) at the University of Melbourne in 2018. Aprille has worked in hospitals and clinics in the inner and outer western suburbs of Melbourne since this time. Her interests include medical education, women's health, children's health (has completed the Sydney Child Health Program) and sexual health.
She enjoys cooking/baking, spending time with her family and her dog, Charlotte.

Dr Shannen completed a Doctor of Medicine and Master of Public Health at the University of Melbourne, and since then has been working as a junior doctor at Western Health.
She has experience in a range of specialties including emergency medicine, paediatrics, internal medicine and palliative care.
She is excited to work with patients in general practice, aiming to provide care that optimises health and well-being.

Dr Christopher graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Deakin University medical school in 2021, and completed his medical internship and residency in metropolitan hospitals across Melbourne's eastern suburbs.
During his training, he's developed a keen interest in chronic disease management and mental health. Having completed a rotation in paediatric emergency medicine, he is also passionate about children's health. He is a strong believer in ensuring patients are well-educated on all matters involving their health, and strive to always provide exemplary patient-centred care.
Christopher enjoys spending time with his family, going on nature walks, and playing badminton. He also loves trying out different restaurants and enjoying the wide array of food options that Melbourne has to offer. Having grown up in the west side of Melbourne after migrating from Malaysia in 2012, he endeavors to give back to the western community of Melbourne as much as he can and to the best of his abilities.

Dr Sue Lim graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2016. She completed further training at Western Health and Austin Hospital prior to moving into General Practice, and holds a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
Away from medicine Sue is a novice gardener. She can also be found taking her dog on walks or at the reformer pilates studio.
