Dr Cecile Arcena
MD, FRACGP
Dr Cecile has over 15 years experience as a GP in Melbourne.
Her special interests include, but are not limited to, women's and children's health, skin diseases including skin cancer, occupational health, travel medicine and chronic disease management.
She is also an accredited Shared Maternity Care provider for the Royal Women's Hospital, Sunshine Hospital and Mercy Hospitals.
Dr Cecile is also an examiner for the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and a member of the GP Supervisors Australia.
Dr Faiza Khan
MBBS, FRACGP, FPSS, DipCH, MWomHMed
Accredited for IUD, Implanon insertions
(CBT, ACT, Clinical Hypnosis)
Dr Faiza Khan has over 10 years’ experience as a General Practitioner, completing her fellowship in 2011. Dr Khan has completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Paediatrics from Westmead Children’s Hospital (through UNSW) and holds a Masters in Women’s Health Medicine.
Dr Khan has completed her studies to be a Registered Focused Psychological Strategies Provider. The strategies used in FPS are clinical hypnosis and mindfulness, ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) and CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy). Additionally, completing her qualifications in CBT and ACT.
More recently Dr Khan completed her accreditation in IUD and Implanon insertions/removals. Dr Khan is also an examiner for the RACGP.
Dr Faiza Khan offers a holistic approach with special interests in Women’s Health, Children’s health, IUD Insertion and removal, Mental Health, Hypnotherapy and Implanon insertion and removal.
Dr Khan speaks English, Hindi, Punjabi, and Urdu.
Dr Stephen Tsimos
MD, FRACGP, BSc (Hons)
Dr Stephen Tsimos completed his Doctor of Medicine in 2016 at the University of Melbourne. Dr Tsimos worked in hospitals for several years which led him into General Practice, where he gained his RACGP fellowship.
Dr Tsimos is passionate and dedicated to all areas of general practice, fully embracing the patient-centre approach to medicine. Some of Dr Tsimos specialities include: Men’s Health, Children’s Health, Chronic Disease Management, Mental Health, Minor surgical procedures as well as Implanon Insertion/Removal.
Additionally, Dr Tsimos has a keen interest sharing his knowledge and teaching the new generation of doctors. Dr Tsimos speaks Greek and enjoys going on a hike or attending sporting events when he is not at the clinic.
Dr Aprille Barrientos
GP Registrar, MD
Dr Aprille Barrientos is a General Practice Registrar. Dr Barrientos completed her Doctor of Medicine at the University of Melbourne in 2018. She has worked in the local hospital system for three years and has always been passionate about general practice.
Dr Barrientos is an active member of the community with volunteering at Teddy Bear Hospital, MDHS Mentoring Program and undertaking her Women and Children's Health Programs.
Barrientos has special interests in Women’s Health, Children’s Health, Preventative health care, Paediatrics and Obstetrics.
When Dr Barrientos isn't practicing as a General Practitioner Registrar, she is cooking up a storm, exploring the restaurants of Melbourne and spending time with her puppy, Charlotte.
Dr James Nicola
Sports Chiropractor
Dr. James graduated from RMIT in 1998 with Bachelor of Applied Science (Human
Movement) degree then went on to complete a Bachelor of Clinical Science
& Bachelor of Chiropractic Science double degree, graduating with
distinction.
James is a holistic therapist who understands the benefits of a
multi-modal tailored approach for all patients regardless of level of
activity.
James’ other areas of special interest are pre and
post-natal care, paediatrics and family health.
Lisa Allen
Podiatrist
Lisa Allen is the owner and sole practitioner of Changes A Foot Podiatry. She is a proud West-sider, living locally and joining the Hampstead Medical team in late 2021.
Lisa has practiced as a Podiatrist for 15-years and worked in both private and public clinics with "High Risk Foot Health" teams, both in Australia and the United Kingdom. Lisa has a passion for chronic disease management (in particular diabetic foot care) and feels strongly the value of consistent, high-quality care in helping her patients achieve happy and active lives.
Lisa’s areas of interest include: nail surgery, sports podiatry, diabetic foot care, chronic disease management and orthotic. Lisa also has a special interest in paediatric podiatry, and with two small children of her own, loves engaging with younger clients.
Ms Carla Battaglia
Dietitian
Carla Battaglia is an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) and has worked in
a variety of settings, including: Aged Care; Community; Non-for Profit
Organisations and Private Practice. She has a passion for nutrition, cooking
and overall health and wellbeing and strives to help you on your health
journey to gain positive results through realistic goals and education.

Back in Motion provide highly trained and skilled physiotherapists to help with all areas of concern. They are passionate about what they do and strive to deliver the best for each patient.
Back in Motion offer physiotherapy, remedial massage, myotherapy, clinical exercise and exercise rehabilitation.
Back in Motion work holistically to help the patient heal properly. Their clinical approach is about results for life to deliver optimal lifelong physical health, rather than encourage reoccurring injuries that were not addressed appropriately.
Some of the areas the physiotherapist can help includes back pain, lower limb sporting injuries, post-operative rehabilitation and neck pain.
